Cebuano Road Trip Comedy 'Patay na si Hesus' Hits Theaters in The US and Canada

Alert your friends and family in the States and Canada—one of last year's most critically acclaimed Filipino films is coming their way. Patay na si Hesus started its screening run in the US today, April 6, at several theaters in California, Nevada, Illinois, and New Jersey. It will run in the States until Thursday, April 12, followed by a Canadian run from Friday, April 13 to Thursday, April 19. Check out the schedule posted on their official Facebook page:

Patay na si Hesus is a road-trip comedy that stars Jaclyn Jose as a single mother who must drag her family from Cebu to Dumaguete to attend their estranged father's funeral. Previously, the film ran in QCinema 2016, where it won the Audience Choice Award and the Gender Sensitivity Award; as well as in 2017's Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, where it won the Jury's Choice Award.
