Thanos Originally Narrated the Entire 'Avengers: Infinity War'

The movie was supposed to be non-linear, too

It turns out the original plan for Avengers: Infinity War was drastically different from the eventual final cut, with the movie taking a non-linear structure at one point.

On top of that, the Marvel outing would have been narrated by Thanos (Josh Brolin), which would have been interesting, to say the least.

The Russo Brothers opened up about directing the blockbuster at a Q&A last night (28 November), admitting that there were three drafts of the movie.

The directors said that one draft had Thanos as the narrator and that it was non-linear, with backstories for the Black Order too (via SlashFilm's Peter Sciretta).

On top of that, the script was 250 pages, and they admitted that writing out the narration version gave them an insight into the character, even though it was excluded in the end.

They also revealed that another draft began with Thanos having already secured the Power Stone, though felt that was too many Infinity Stones to start off the story with.
