Even in the age of everything's-on-the-internet, every man's home needs a solid collection of books. And if you're looking to add something of real substance to your shelf, consider this 12-volume encyclopedia set on Filipino arts and culture, by the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

The CCP Encylopedia of Philippine Art is an authoritative resource and "an invaluable record of Filipinos’ artistic contribution to the world." The 2018 print edition—which follows long after a 1994 edition—was made available for pre-order last month, and was recently announced to launch on November 28, 2018. It consists of 12 volumes covering the Philippines' architecture, visual, arts, films, music, theatre, broadcast arts and literature.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines Encyclopedia of Philippine Art will be launched on November 28, 2018.
