Heart Evangelista Shows Us How Poor We All Are With Her Hermès Mask

Everyone's doing their best to protect themselves against coronavirus. The mass hoarding of masks, alcohol sprays, and wet wipes are just proof of this. Hell, even supermodel Naomi Campbell wore a full hazmat suit to the airport with Rick Owens sneakers.
In another tale of safety but make it fashion, Heart Evangelista decided to DIY a reusable face mask with Hermès, Chanel, and Dior ribbons which she shared on Instagram.
"So, [my stylist] and I are coming up with masks that are more pretty," she said. "Because, life goes and we have to attend, work and wala akong choice." There you have it—perfectly understandable. Heart then proceeds to showcase her custom face masks which have an extra layer of filter cartridge.
You're probably thinking: Why are we making a big deal out of ribbons... because we have questions, that's why. Were the ribbons sanitized before they were sewn on? Are the masks washable? Or, will she have to keep making new ones?
Don't get us wrong, we don't have anything against the whole thing. In fact, it's clear there's a market for statement surgical face masks on sites like Etsy, Amazon, and eBay. Heart could make a killing out there, and we'd be investors in an instant (hypothetically, of course.)
Still, Naomi and Marc Jacobs did it first.
