The internet wasn't happy about Jake Cuenca's proposal prank on his girlfriend Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa. According to many users, the actor's prank wasn't a good joke to pull on his girlfriend.

Cuenca posted the prank on his Instagram account through a short video taken from his Palawan beach trip with Verzosa. The actor was seen preparing a candle-lit dinner for his girlfriend. In the darkness, set up tables and chairs surrounded by lights on the heart-shaped lawn were visible.

Verzosa approached Cuenca who stood up in his seat. He then said: "So, I prepared this because I just wanted to ask you one thing." Verzosa was visibly surprised and stunned. He continued, "So, here it goes… kumain... kumain ka na ba?"

Verzosa seemed to be teary-eyed and laughing. Cuenca asked if the actress and beauty queen liked it, and she replied: "Super! Except you. Wow." He then said I love you to his girlfriend.
