Surrounded by shades of a flame held close, a woman in a headscarf looks furtively over her shoulder, one hand resting on the place where her child is covered by the folds of her cloak. As it is with everything Benedicto Cabrera touches, there's a sweeping grace to be found in his paintings whether they occupy a canvas or a porcelain plate. Thankfully, there are new ways to bask in his creations now that the artist fondly known as "BenCab" has joined forces with Rustan's, launching a sophisticated artisan collection of home décor and accents embedded with his artworks.

From the crafty hands of the Philippine National Artist and the retail giant that is Rustan's comes their much-awaited joint project, Our Very Own, which offers a visually arresting display of porcelain plates, eclectic mugs, cushion covers, exquisite fans, decorative trays, and utility boxes.

Here, BenCab re-imagines classic visual interpretations of Filipino culture. Stepping from bucolic landscapes and onto the glaze of shimmering plates, the Filipiniana line put forward by Rustan's only amplifies the artist's phenomenal body of work, showcasing highly beloved and enduring favorites such as Blue Sabel (2005), Images of the Past (1999), Madonna (2014), Pillow Vendor (2012), and Kutohan (2014). Traditional masks, monumental figures, and portrayals of various women at work are the subjects of this luminous, eclectic collection.

Rustan's invites its patrons to let these pieces take up residency in their homes or present them as exquisitely curated gifts for loved ones. In addition, a free BenCab-designed tote bag will be given for every single receipt purchase worth PhP 15,000.

Rustan's X BenCab Collection is available in Rustan's Makati, Rustan's Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Rustan's Cebu, and Rustan's Our Very Own Resorts World.
