Peter Parker Survives the War With Thanos in the Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer

This will be a nice palate cleanser after 'Avengers: Endgame.'

Seeing as Disney will continue to make money on Marvel Cinematic Universe movies until humanity ceases to exist, it should be no surprise that some of our favorite superheroes will survive the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. We've known there has been a new Spider-Man movie coming this summer for a long time now, and Marvel has finally released the first trailer for the film that picks up just minutes after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Peter Parker somehow lives through the events of the final Avengers movie, along with Aunt May, MJ, and Nick Fury—all of whom appear in the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.

Spider-Man: Far From Homeinvolves Parker going on a school field trip, which gets interrupted when Nick Fury recruits the kid to help him stop a new European threat. The film also features Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, who up until this new trailer was assumed to be the Far From Home villain; in this trailer, it appears the two are teaming up somehow.

Most importantly, Far From Home brings back some of the charming teen drama that we saw in Homecoming. Tom Holland's Parker seems to be falling for Zendaya's MJ, and his antics with Jacob Batalon's Ned are as lovable as ever.

The same way Marvel paired Infinity War back-to-back with Ant-Man and the Wasp, this appears to be a great palate cleanser after the intense events of Endgame. Spider-Man: Far From Home is out on July 5.
