Star Trek: Discovery launched September 25 in all Netflix territories (excluding the US and Canada), and in celebration the streaming service released an exciting new Klingon trailer for the series. There's also an extra special surprise for hardcore Star Trek fans (Trekkies? Trekkers?): all fifteen episodes of Star Trek: Discovery will be available to watch on Netflix with Klingon subtitles.

Star Trek: Discovery will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to "discover new worlds and new lifeforms," set about a decade before the events of the original series featuring the adventures of Capt. James T. Kirk. In this iteration, the United Federation of Planets leads in a time of peace, but is beginning to be wary of the mysterious Klingon race. This time around, the main character isn't a captain—despite the presence of two stellar actors in the role: Mi,chelle Yeoh, as Capt. Georgiou, and Jason Isaacs as Capt. Gabriel Lorca—but a first officer, Lt. Cmdr. Michael Burnham (played by The Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green).

Star Trek: Discovery marks the return of Star Trek, one of the most iconic and influential global television franchises, returns to television 50 years after it first premiered.  The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

Starting September 25, episodes will premiere on Netflix at 12am PT every Monday, following the US episode broadcast on CBS.
