The next big thing invading Hawkins, Indiana isn't a monster from the Upside Down, it's Starcourt Mall! That's right, the not-so-sleepy town is getting a new state of the art shopping center complete with a Gap, a Claire's, a Sam Goody, and a Scoops Ahoy, where Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) appears to be working. The first teaser for Stranger Things Season 3 comes in the form of an advertisement for the town's new mall, and while it's short on details it does have a brief glimpse of Steve and newcomer Robin (Maya Hawke) serving up scoops of ice cream.

Here's everything we know about Stranger Things Season 3 so far:

When is the Season 3 premiere?

Though Season 3 was initially rumored to arrive in late 2018, actor David Harbour let slip a few months ago, that it likely wouldn't debut until 2019. The new Starcourt Mall teaser seems to confirm that, with text at the end noting that it will open next summer, hinting that's when the third season will premier.

When will it take place?

Season three will take place in summer 1985, one year after the second season. Back to the Future will be the cultural touchstone of Season Three, just as Ghostbusters was in the previous season.

Who are the new characters?

Robin, who we saw working alongside Steve, is described as an "alternative girl" who is "bored with her mundane day job. She seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins." Priah Ferguson as Erica—Lucas' hilarious little sister—will return in a bigger role this season "with an army of her own friends. No longer content with sitting on the sidelines, Erica finds herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous new threat."

What about all the cute couples at the end of Season Two?

Don't worry all the couples will remain a central part of the show.

"Mike and Eleven are going strong, so that's a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas. But Again, they're like 13 or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there's fun to that instability," Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy told the Hollywood Reporter.

Most importantly, what about Steve and Dustin?

In Season Two of Stranger Things, Steve and Dustin became the best new duo of the series. It was unexpected and delightful. The two went on an adventure for Dart, and along the way they shared the secret to Steve's hair, the mysteries of women, and more. That dynamic will return in Season Three, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We'll definitely get to see some more of Steve Harrington in Season Three, and I'll just say we won't be abandoning the Dad Steve magic," Stranger Things Levy said. "I don't want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve."
