Here Are Some Stories of Famous People Doing Good Things, For a Change

In response to the sexual harassment scandals flooding our news feeds, one Twitter user has called for stories of celebrities being good and decent people.

With all the sexual assault news flooding our social media feeds, it's easy to overlook the fact that there are celebrities who are actually kind and decent people. In an effort to spread some good news for once, San Francisco-based artist Oliver Leach asked Twitter users to share "good allegations against" stars. 



In an interview with the Huffington Post, Leach clarified that he "welcomes the long overdue exposure of harassers, but he thinks it’s important to remember acts of kindness as well." Twitter users were quick to respond to his callout.

One of the first was Mara Wilson, who you might remember as the precocious and downright adorable star of 90's movie and hit Roald Dahl novel Matilda. It turns out that she lost her mother to breast cancer shortly after filming wrapped. Her co-stars Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman (who played her cruel adoptive parents) were there for her throughout the ordeal.
