If you think about it, celebrities do pretty crazy stuff on stage. With intense dance routines, wearing heavy costumes, and more, there are bound to be accidents from time to time. Sometimes, it even happens with a camera focused right on them. From the brutal to the downright embarrassing, here are 12 times Filipino celebrities fell, slipped, tripped, or whatever you want to call it.

Vice Ganda

Vice Ganda has had several falls in his career. The most recent one was a stage mishap during an episode of It's Showtime. The comedian lost his balance while walking and twirling, and tumbled his way in front of the cameraman. Vice Ganda was helped back up by Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, relatively unharmed.

Maine Mendoza

While on the Eat Bulaga! stage, Maine Mendoza accidentally slipped and quite literally face planted on the floor. Proving she was a good sport, the actress posted the clip on her Facebook page where it went viral.

Apl.de.Ap

During Coca-Cola's free indoor summer concert in 2019, Apl.de.Ap fell off a steel barricade and landed on his fans in the front row. There isn't any footage of the accident, so we'll have to make do with photos instead.

Kim Chiu

Kim Chiu has fallen not once, not twice, but thrice on the ASAP stage. Like a true trooper, she got right back up and finished her performances all three times, even laughing it off later. She was mostly uninjured, too.

Sarah Geronimo

Yep, even professional performers like Sarah Geronimo have accidents on stage. During her ASAP birthday performance, Geronimo sang a mash-up of Bebe Rexha's "The Way I Are," DJ Khaled and Rihanna's "Wild Thoughts," and Little Mix's "Power." At one point, she lost her balance and ended up on the floor. Instead of curling up and hiding, however, she got back up and continued with her performance.

James Reid

In 2014, one couldn't escape the clip of James Reid falling off the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash stage. After strutting down the stage, Reid walked back into a hole that was built into the stage. Though the fall looked brutal, the actor only walked away with a bruise on his arm.

Anne Curtis

While going up the audience stairs on It's Showtime, Anne Curtis tripped and fell down. An audience member managed to catch her, and she stood right back up. After her fellow hosts were calling for a medic, she said "Ang OA ninyo! Wala nga nangyari! Walang nangyari! Mga Kapamilya, wala po kayong nakita!"

Shaina Magdayao

During an ASAP opening number, Shaina Magdayao and Nikki Gil belly danced to The Pussycat Dolls' "Jai Ho." It was all fine until Magdayao did a twirl, slipped, and lost her balance. Gil quickly ran over to help her, and she didn't seem to be badly injured.

Julie Anne San Jose

During a Party Pilipinas opening number, Julie Anne San Jose slipped and hit her ankle. She pushed through with the performance, but still struggled to keep her balance.

Angeline Quinto

Here's another incident on the ASAP stage. In 2012, Angeline Quinto bravely performed Aegis' "Mahal na Mahal Kita" in a long floral dress. You know where this going. The singer stepped on elevated steps, and she tripped and fell on her knees. Years later, she looked back and said it was one of her most memorable bloopers in the show.

Filipino YouTube probably started with this clip of Claudine Barretto on ASAP. While doing the opening spiel for the variety show, the actress tripped while going down a steep flight of steps. The accident wasn't really that crazy, it's what she said that makes the whole thing. After all, you don't see a beloved actor cursing on live television that often.

Kris Aquino

One of the most viewed stage mishaps is Kris Aquino falling through the stage during GMA Supershow in the '90s. As Aquino was making her way to the front, the stage suddenly gave way and she fell. The actress and host was quickly assisted by Rene Requiestas and several members of the crew. Still look like it hurt, though.
