Zack Snyder's Justice League Will Premiere on HBO Go in the Philippines
The long saga of the Justice League movie will see its close as its refreshed version, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, premieres on March 18 on HBO Go in the Philippines.
To recap, Snyder bowed out in the last stretch of Justice League’s production due to personal circumstances. Joss Whedon was brought in to complete the project and he—uh—reshaped Snyder’s original vision into what you saw in theaters in 2017.
Let’s just say that moviegoers and critics were not completely enamored of this version. Soon, cries to release the Snyder Cut rippled through social media, with even the film’s actors supporting the movement. Last year, a glimmer of hope appeared as Snyder and Warner Media announced that they’re teaming up to finish the original cut. Phew.
Now, you’ll finally get what you asked for. Here’s the official summary of Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
