More Than 150 Masterpieces to Go Under the Gavel at León Gallery

The Asian Cultural Council Philippines (ACCP) Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the ACC Art Auction on February 22, 2020 at Leon Gallery. Two years ago, the same auction made history when National Artist Jose Joya’s iconic "Space Transfiguration" (1959) fetched a record sale of P112 million.
The event will feature an array of impressive works topped by the 1930 Fabian Dela Rosa painting in oil, "Dos Hermanas," a gift he bestowed to Rafael Palma, a journalist, patriot, and former president of the University of the Philippines. Ang Kiukok’s 2001 still life (window series) oil piece is also expected to draw stiff competition at the auction.
