Gavel & Block, the subsidiary brand of Salcedo Auctions, is staging a benefit auction for the benefit of International School Manila's Vicky SyCip Herrera (VSH) Filipino scholars.

The highlight of the sale is an untitled mixed media painting by abstractionist Romulo Olazo, an oil on wood by Ang Kiukok from 1973, and Deco Deconstruction by Ronald Ventura, which was donated by the artist himself.
The VSH Filipino Scholarship at ISM was established as a tribute to SyCip Herrera's contribution as

Several of ISM's scholars have gone to top colleges, universities, and institutions around the world such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, and Princeton, among others. Through the help of ISM's scholarship fund, they've become entrepreneurs, humanitarians, lawyers, doctors, and architects.
Former ISM scholar Dominic Galicia credits the school for helping him discover his dream to be an architect.
The sale will commence on Saturday, May 5, 2:00 p.m. at The Conservatory of The Peninsula Manila.
