These Super Rare Supreme Skate Decks Will Be Auctioned Soon

So a little birdie told us about an upcoming auction where a small collection of Supreme skate decks will be up for grabs. In his message, our source cryptically includes this description: “100 series,” which may allude to the 100 super rare skate decks that Grailed dropped in 2018. Yes? No? Something else?

To be exact, in the Vintages auction by Leon Gallery, there will be six Supreme skate decks: three emblazoned with ’80s photographer Nan Goldin's images, one by Jackson Pollock under The Hundreds edition (okay, we get it now), and two candy-colored decks printed with "Supreme." That last striped set is the rarest among the lots, our very cool bird advises.
In the art world, Goldin is known for producing arresting images of intimacy, featuring herself and her close friends, while Pollock is, of course, the creative genius that defied convention by dripping, squirting, and splashing paint to create abstract works.
And Supreme? There's no need to introduce you to the label, whose red box logo is synonymous with total swagger.
Soak it all up below.

Other notes: The three Goldins and the pair of striped decks are sold as sets, all the skate decks measure 33 inches by 8 1/2 inches, and, adding to the mysterious vibe of this affair, we have been advised that the auction will happen sometime in November. Stay tuned.
