All that empty space with nothing to occupy it or no one to share it with doesn't exactly spell “dream home.” Sometimes, the house of your dreams is a humble home that speaks of culture and comfort, and there’s nothing that embodies this more than the bahay kubo.

Zamora Architects, a Bohol-based firm, has conceptualized a stunning, modern bahay kubo design that blends contemporary elements with the classic. Storage space is hidden in the nooks and crannies of the tiny home, with a ladder replacing traditional stairs to save space.

There’s enough room for a common dining, kitchen, and living area, which leads to a spacious bathroom, all on the first floor. Meanwhile, the second floor boasts a minimalist bedroom with a 360-degree view of the outdoors, which would be perfect if located in the middle of the province.

Despite some initial criticism, Zamora Architects has attracted thousands of reacts to the tiny house design, and while they’re still finalizing the materials for the plan, it looks like they’ve already got a lot of interested tiny house lovers lining up at their door.
