This Supremely Cool Chair Features 40 Handmade Indigenous Materials

Great furniture collaborations are hard to come by, so we jump at almost everything that combines our love of design and cool collabs. The latest is designer Ito Kish's partnership with Filip + Inna, the clothing label that's known for using indigenous materials.
"For this season, I have guest brands coming to our retail space," Kish says. According to the designer, life in quarantine has taught him the importance of friendship and that's why he invited one of his best friends, Len Cabili of Filip + Inna, to collaborate. The limited-edition is the first of three that will run from July until August.
Here's a closer look at Ito Kish's collaboration with Filip + Inna.
Cabili takes Kish's iconic Gregoria chair and makes it her own in the collaboration.
Named the Gregoria II, the accent chair's balusters are wrapped in different materials.
The Gregoria is inspired by the Filipino story, history, and sustainable materials.
Over 40 handmade materials from different indigenous groups were used.
Filip + Inna's Indo Collection will also be exclusively available at Ito Kish for the collaboration.
The Ito Kish Retail Season Two and Filip + Inna collab piece is available to view by appointment only. For inquiries, e-mail [email protected] or message +639171820306.
