Jollibee has made no secret of its plan to become one of the Top 5 food companies globally, and it is following through with this target with successive store openings not just in the U.S., but elsewhere in the world, including in Europe and its home country, the Philippines.
Jollibee’s parent company, Jollibee Foods Corp (JFC) reported gross revenues of P154.80 billion in the first nine months of 2022, up TK percent from P110.76 billion during the same period the previous year. It also reported a surge in net income: P7.30 billion versus P2.25 billion.
As of September 30, 2022, the JFC Group had 6,351 company-owned and franchised stores globally across multiple brands. About one percent of this total were temporarily closed due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company had planned to open a total of 500 new stores in 2022 after opening 398 in 2021.
