Dancing and Good Vibes in Two of Manila's Top Kitchens
The restaurant industry has been hit by the pandemic in a big way.
And yet our chefs and their kitchen teams continue to nourish and nurture and spread good vibes, as always.
Panaderya Toyo recently posted a video on Instagram of its team dancing its worries away.
"When the pandemic hits you hard, lockdown reaches more than five months, and you’ve got nothing but each other to count on...YOU DANCE LIKE NO ONE IS LOOKING," it said.
Chef Chele Gonzalez of Gallery picked up on the good vibes.
"About two weeks ago, Panaderya Toyo posted a video dancing and having a good time. It made me smile, it motivated me, it made my day," wrote Gonzalez.
And so they decided to put together one of their own.
"This was in the morning, we were all laughing, dancing as a family and we started the day with a positive energy," he wrote.
The former DJ from Spain challenged other restaurateurs to do the same.
“Let’s make everyone understand the importance of our industry to many people and do what we do best. HOSPITALITY “We take care of you."
Looking forward to seeing more people dining out and keeping our restaurant industry in business.
Good vibes, always.
