Ever seen the Perseids? A total lunar eclipse? How about a supermoon? If not, this could be your year. 2018 is set to be an exciting one for space nerds, as a number of celestial happenings are on the docket—and many of them will be visible from your own backyard. To help you keep track (and plan your date nights), The New York Times collected some of the biggest events into a convenient set of calendar reminders that you can download with the push of a button.

In addition to eclipses and several meteor showers, the year ahead also marks a few significant moments for humanity's pursuit of infinity and beyond, such as the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8, and the launch of NASA's InSight spacecraft, created to study the internal makeup of Mars, to the red planet. And it's a safe bet that Elon Musk will have a few tricks up his sleeve as well, including sending SpaceX's most powerful rocket yet past Earth's orbit.
