There’s always that guy who waits until the last minute to buy Christmas gifts—on Christmas eve itself. If you’re reading this, then you’re probably that guy. But don’t worry, we got your back.

Shopee, Lazada, Zalora—that’s all off the shelf now. It’s too late to ship anything, so here’s what you can grab at your nearest grocery, appliance store, hardware store, and mall that can pass as a “thoughtful” gift so your parents or girlfriend don’t get pissed (as they should). Don’t expect any of these to be cheap. The only thing worse than a last-minute gift is a cheap last-minute gift.

1| For the Siblings: Marks & Spencer Anything

This should be available at your nearest grocery store or even at an M&S stall if your mall has one. You can never go wrong with British baked goods.

3| For Dad: A New Set of Tools

Any tools will do. If your dad loves tinkering with cars, get him a jack. If he’s the house handyman, get him a new set of tools to replace the rusty ones he still uses.

4| For the Girlfriend: An Expensive Gift Certificate

Play it safe and get a gift certificate instead of attempting to pick out something yourself. There’s a 50-50 chance she won’t approve of your fashion sense, so give her a pricey gift certificate so she can pick something out herself.
