Sure, they were popular in the 1990s to early 2000s, but there is no way that you can't sing along to the harmonious, easygoing Backstreet Boys pop hit "I Want It That Way."

All of the Backstreet Boys—that's AJ McLean (the group's resident bad boy), Howie D. (the nice guy), Nick Carter (the cute one), Brian Littrell (the small one), and Kevin Richardson (the...mysterious? one)—were present for their appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The group, which has announced that they are working on an album to come out in October 2018, picked up classroom instruments to perform aforementioned moneymaker.

WATCH:

The Backstreet Boys are looking good, and it helps that they're all very game at singing their biggest hit with grade-school instruments. This, somewhat embarrassingly, goes right up there with some of our favorite classroom performances over at the Tonight Show: Metallica doing "Enter Sandman," and Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham doing an uplifting rendition of "Don't Stop" with kids from SeriousFun, a camp for children with serious illnesses.
