After a successful run in Metro Manila last February, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is headed south, to Cebu. With about one million books at discounts of up to 80 percent, the colossal book sale is slated to run from July 13 to 23 at the IEC Convention Center, and will also be open 24 hours a day. Their official Facebook page made the announcement last weekend:

Cebuanos can expect to dive into a room full of different sorts of books, including comics, as well as posters and other merchandise.

And as with the Metro Manila leg, attendees are expected to revel in the joy of the hunt; to explore the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale rather than pop in to cop a specific book and be on your way. That's why there's no directory or Dewey Decimal system: You come to find, rather to get, and that's what makes it special.

July will mark the second Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in the Philippines, and if the comments section of the announcement post is any evidence, there's a lot of clamor for a third leg in Davao as well.
