This Photographer Was Able to Capture Bohol's Mountains From Cebu City

'Look at that visibility, all the way to the mountains of Bohol.'

Thanks to cleaner air, we've been seeing a lot of amazing photos of views that haven't been sighted in recent times.

There was the Pasay City resident that took photos of Pililla, Rizal's windmills from his condominium, while another photographer was able to capture the Sierra Madre Mountain Range from Pasig City.

The latest is photographer Mito Estrada who was able to casually take photos of the mountains of Bohol from Cebu City. Estrada shared the image on Facebook with the caption: "Look at that visibility, all the way to the mountains of Bohol."

In an interview with the Inquirer, Estrada says “[This is my] first time to see Bohol that visible from that area. [I've] been biking in that area for years already.” And so, he did what any photography enthusiast would do and snapped a photo of the rare view.

A big drop in air pollution has been observed all over the Philippines since March.

“This explains why our sky now is clear and looks clean," said Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary Benny Antiporda in an ABS-CBN News report. With the quarantine ongoing the "major cause of climate change—air pollution, due mainly by mass transport energy emissions—is being abated," added Roy Cimatu, DENR Secretary.
