The McDonald's BTS Meal hype is real. In Indonesia, the collab sold out as Armys and delivery partners swarmed the fast-food chain's outlets all over the country, so much so that some branches were told to close due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The surge of orders has led BTS' understanding fans to spearhead a fundraising campaign as a way to provide meals for delivery drivers who were kept busy the whole day. On Twitter, users wrote that the fundraiser was their way of sharing happiness with those who helped them get their meals.

As of this writing, the campaign has raised 44,000 Indonesian rupiahs (approximately P512,000) for the food delivery riders. The country's BTS fans have also been reminding each other to not be mad if orders are late. Others have also told fellow fans to tip generously considering the frenzy the collab has caused.

It's clear the delivery drivers in Indonesia have a great sense of humor, too, as another tweet shows. When a fan cheered the Grab driver delivery her meal, he jokingly said that he's Jungkook from BTS. Check out the interaction below.
