You Can Now Ride Enchanted Kingdom's Space Shuttle and Jungle Log Jam Virtually
Museums, zoos, and other attractions all over the world have taken to technology in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Cultural Center of the Philippines' past performances, Yale University's courses, and even a 5,000-year-old Egyptian tomb are just some of the more notable things you can find online these days. But, did you ever stop and think about how theme parks are coping?
Enchanted Kingdom, for one, is still waiting to re-open after it closed its gates back in March. Like many attractions, the theme park has also utilized the Internet so you can experience the magic right from the comfort of your home.
Before you say that roaming around a theme park online is a completely different thing, well, Enchanted Kingdom is doing more than a boring ol' virtual tour. Yep, the theme park has upped the ante by having virtual rides and major attractions available.
You can ride one of the most popular rides on the theme park right now: the Space Shuttle. Fun fact: this roller coast lifts riders up 35.5 meters high. That's as tall as an 11-storey high building, FYI. After riding the Space Shuttle, you can give the Jungle Log Jam a try. You probably already know this Amazon-inspired water ride well but, this time, you can ride it without getting wet.
Once you're all thrilled out, you can end your visit with the Enchanted Story Musicale, which features excerpts from the theme park's classic attraction. Check out enchantedkingdom.ph to see all the virtual rides and attractions.
