Here's What Went Down at the Esquire and AXOR Artisan Assembly

To celebrate the launch of the new AXOR One collection, Esquire Philippines teamed up with AXOR and Kuysen and gathered a group of esteemed visionaries at the AXOR Artisan Assembly. Architects and interior designers attended the virtual event to eat, drink, and learn more about AXOR's latest release of fine fixtures for the washbasin, bathtub, and more.

The AXOR One collection designed by Barber Osgerby, a London-based studio by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, consists of 31 fixtures that are simple, elegant, and functional. Each piece in the collection is unlike anything previously seen as it's powered by Select technology. A faucet from the collection, for instance, features a start or stop button that increases the temperature when turned clockwise.

Then, there's the AXOR Citterio collection, created in collaboration with Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio, which features 70 fixtures for the washbasin, shower, and bathtub. Described as the epitome of understated luxury, the luxury bathroom collection is inspired by Italian neoclassicism.

Guests enjoyed an assortment of meats and cheeses as they got a thorough introduction to the world of AXOR and its 2021 collections. Michael Kiolbassa started with the beginnings of the AXOR One collection and its essence of simplicity.

"Minimalism for many decades in architecture, interior design, and also in product design has played a very important role. So, we said, 'Okay, we would like to have not only a minimalist [collection], we wanted to have the most minimalist collection in the bathroom industry with AXOR," Kiolbassa said. Sandra Brand then offered a look into the future of AXOR. "With AXOR, we are always aiming for state-of-the-art technology that we are using in our production," she said. "The future is all about individualization. It is about individual luxury and also about the future living concepts."
