Nespresso Shares What's Behind Every Cup in Its Latest Campaign Starring George Clooney
There's so much more to coffee than meets the eye. It’s something Nespresso takes to heart as the brand believes that it can be a force for good. A cup, as the brand says, can be art while also creating change for the better by shedding a light on farmers and the environment.
Made With Care is the campaign launched by Nespresso for the brand's new communications platform. The aim is to explore what's really behind every cup of Nespresso coffee by tapping into the "deep human care" given by the farmers, communities, and more.
Nespresso shares the idea with a spoken word video starring brand ambassador and Nespresso Sustainability Advisory Board (NSAB) member George Clooney along with fashion designer Johanna Ortiz, actress and philanthropist Sonia Rolland, digital entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni, poet and activist Emi Mahmoud, and more.
"Nespresso and I have always shared a passion for sustainability and farmer welfare. And if the past year has shown anything, it's that care is pivotal to communities' wellbeing and resilience. That's why I feel privileged to stand alongside people with the same values in the "Made with Care" movement—from activists, to celebrities, to some of the most dedicated farmers and coffee experts I have ever met. The campaign also answers the question "what is care?" as each personality explains their ties to Nespresso's ethos while touching on numerous points including sustainability, female empowerment, and more.
