Grab's Newest Features Will Help You Send Last-Minute Gifts to Family in the Philippines—and Beyond

If you’re cramming your Christmas presents, then we’ve found just the hack for you. Grab Philippines has just launched features that help with your last-minute Christmas shopping woes. The best part? The features are international.
If you’re out of ideas—and time—to buy your loved ones gifts, then consider Grab’s revamped GrabGifts interface, which now allows users to send GrabGifts vouchers to anyone in select Southeast Asia.
Another handy hack on Grab is 100+ Cities Delivery, a beta feature that lets you send food and products from GrabFood and GrabMart to friends and family living in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, and the Philippines.

This new “cross-border gifting” initiative began when a Grab survey found that more than 60 percent of respondents in Southeast Asia were planning to send gifts to loved ones in other countries. Filipinos are intimately familiar with the idea of sending gifts to family abroad, making these new features particularly meaningful to OFW families in Southeast Asia.
“It has been heartwarming to see how consumers have tapped on our platform to overcome movement restrictions imposed by the pandemic,” said Cheryl Goh, chief marketing officer of Grab.
Another bonus? It’s a great hack for all those late-minute Christmas shoppers out there. Open your Grab app to explore the latest features now.
