Maria Ozawa has endeared herself to Filipinos, to say the least. She's quite the figure here, after all. The feeling happens to be mutual, too. She's even been open to dating Filipino guys, in case you haven't heard.
“Filipino is the best,” the adult film star-turned-entrepreneur said during the launch of "Maria's Room" at Okada Manila.
Maria's Room happens to be her biggest partnership in the country to date. One of her first major projects in the Philippines was the 2015 Filipino action horror film Nilalang, where she starred alongside Cesar Montano in the lead role. She spoke with great fondness about the country based on that experience.
"Everybody's so nice and laid back. Their hospitality is very different from where I come from," she said. Ozawa even remarked that she would love to do more films in the country, as well.
Ozawa also expressed her excitement about having the opportunity to go back and forth to visit the Philippines for the collabration with M88 Mansion.
“I love everything about the Philippines. I look at myself and I can see that am happier here. It’s something different from where I came. I love the beaches here and the places are fun," she said. "I was also lucky enough to make some friends.”
She noted: "Eventually, I’d like to move back here."
So when M88 Mansion came up to her for the concept for Maria's Room, it was a no-brainer. "I was like, 'who would not say yes to that offer?' I thought to myself I should just grab the chance and see where it goes."
Maria's Room is a dedicated online gaming portal designed exclusively for her. The portal offers online casino games chosen by Ozawa herself coming from leading gaming providers like Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, Sexy Gaming, CQ9, and more. Maria's Room features exclusive games such “Bikini Party,” "Football Baby,” "Ladies Nite 2 Turn Wild," and more.
"It was my first time partnering with a gaming company, and I am truly thrilled with Maria's Room as it presents my personality in a new light. It definitely mirrors my fun side," Ozawa shared.
The platform also offers exclusive content made by Ozawa. Players are treated to videos and a photo gallery, as well as a potential for a shoutout from the former adult film actress. The company had also released the Maria’s Room exclusive workout kits, as well. The merchandise was said to be inspired by Ozawa's own fitness regime, which she posts live regularly on "Monday Mornings with Maria" on Facebook and her Youtube channel.
M88 Mansion Creative Director Carlos Lopez also revealed that Maria’s Room has been highly successful in the Southeast Asian region since debuting in February.
"We have created a full section inside M88.com specifically to cater to Maria. It has a lot of exclusive games. She has an exclusive background table and a lot of exclusive content," Lopez claimed. "What we're trying to do here is connect with her fans and a different target audience. We do have a lot of sports sponsorships. Maria is creating exclusive content for us specifically for our members. We hope her fans also join us."
