The World's Most Expensive Face Mask Costs P73.4 Million
For the bargain price of $1.5 million (approximately P73.4 million), you can purchase the most expensive face mask in the world. And before you ask, yes, that's just for one face mask.
We know what you came here for, and that's to hear all the ridiculousness there is about the world's most expensive face mask. According to the New York Post, the face mask is crafted from 18-karat white gold and 3,600 white and black diamonds.
Yvel, the jeweler behind it all says the face mask is a testament to the brand always taking on new challenges: "This work of art proves it. We are thankful for being able to create and function in these challenging times."
Now, Yvel isn't just doing this for show. The order was placed by a Chinese businessman living in the U.S. who had three conditions: the mask should feature N99 filters, be completed before the year ends, and be the most expensive face mask in the world.
"Money maybe doesn’t buy everything, but if it can buy a very expensive COVID-19 mask and the guy wants to wear it and walk around and get the attention, he should be happy with that," said Yvel owner Isaac Levy.
Fair enough, I guess?
