Our Coinage is About to Get Even More Confusing

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas just released an announcement video for the New Generation Currency Coin Series, featuring new versions of the ten-, five-, and one-peso coins; as well as the 25-, five-, and one-centavo coins. They all bear similar engraving layouts featuring different national heroes and plants. They're all circular, all seem to be silver-colored, and their main discernible difference is their slightly increasing size and the variety of their edges. Check it out:

The people of the Internet, as is their wont, are already pointing out the obvious:

It looks like we're all going to have to squint real hard to make sure we're handing an Apolinario Mabini instead of an Andres Bonifacio or a Jose Rizal to the conductor. That, or we'll have to make a habit of running our fingers along the sides of our coins before paying. Either way would be easier than trying to distinguish between the Kapa-Kapa and the Tayabak plant.
