Forget about Undas. This is the October holiday we’ve been waiting for.

October 23 marks the International Slap Your Annoying Coworker Day, which is when you can take full advantage of the unofficial novelty holiday, and release all your pent up anger at your coworker in the next cubicle.

No one knows how it started, but we’re grateful it exists—and it landed on a weekday no less. When else can we have an excuse to sock it to the coworker who talks to loud, chews too loud, burps in public, and won’t use his headphones?

There are some rules to follow. First, you can only slap one person per hour. Second, the slap permit is limited to only coworkers. So no, you can’t slap your bratty siblings.

Let’s face it. Some faces deserve to be slapped. Seriously, Gary. Clip your nails at home.
