But how to get the best travel deals? Well, these 15 travel sites can help. Score amazing airline tickets, hotel stays, car rentals, and other sweet travel deals—so what are you waiting for?

1. Kayak.com

What you'll find: This quick and easy site gathers fares from other travel sites, so you have all the cheapest rates right at your fingertips (download the app for mobile-only deals). Have P10,000 to spare and want to take a trip? The "Explore" feature lets you check out cities you can fly to for that amount (or less) and shows you on Google Maps.

2. Expedia.com

What you'll find: Check out its "Deal of the Day," where you enter where you're traveling from and where you'd like to go (say, New York City to Chicago for two nights); the hotel deals that pop up can be up to P5,000 less than normally offered. You can also create an account to take advantage of its special coupons. They expire, so act quickly if you see a deal you like!

What you'll find: Who doesn't want to save money on a tropical getaway to a Caribbean island? What you'll find: This low-airfare alert site covers all airlines (including Southwest), so there's always a deal to be had—and if you're flexible and can fly at a moment's notice, there are some first-rate deals to be had. What you'll find: With its 'Name Your Own Price feature, you can bid on hotels and score some pretty sweet deals—but you do need to be aware, that you won't know which hotel you'll be staying in (though you can choose the neighborhood and star rating, so you'll have a general idea of the type of lodging you'll be booked into).

What you'll find: Didn't know Groupon offered travel deals? Take a look at its air/hotel packages (a recent search turned up a seven-day Italy trip for roughly P46,000, that also includes a rental car). You can search via geographic location or by special interest like beach, outdoor and adventure, romantic getaways, etc., and you'll find lot of good deals by clicking on the "Last Minute" section.

12. LivingSocial.com

What you'll find: This site is a great resource for local things to do, but you can also tap into its travel deals (under the "Escapes" tab), which offer trips to a variety of destinations—both foreign and domestic. Check out its "Most Popular Deals" tab to see everything from a one-night stay at a Cape Cod inn for P5,500 to an eight-day hotel/air Ireland trip from P40,000.

What you'll find: Members who stay 10 nights, whether it be a single-night stay or part of a multiday trip, receive a free night (the site has more than 270,000 properties around the world to choose from), and if you travel frequently, you can upgrade to its Silver or Gold membership, and receive deeper discounts and perks.

What you'll find: If cruises are your thing—or even if you are a first timer—you can get quotes from multiple travel agencies to get the very best cruise deal, perhaps a seven-night Canada/England sailing from Holland America. You can also get special deals, such as two-for-one cruises and select sailings where kids cruise free.
