Victoria Court Now Has a Room for Your Steamy MRT Fantasies

The term closet exhibitionist might be an oxymoron, but now there’s a place to fulfill those public fantasies. Victoria Court recently introduced its newest theme room to join its other popular rooms such as the ones inspired by the Oval Office, Star Wars, Moulin Rouge, and 50 Shades of Grey. While they have themes that touch on Japanese, Chinese, and even Venetian elements, this one is truly Pinoy as it is quite a familiar sight—the MRT.
Yes, now, you and your significant other can take a joyride in a room that simulates the public transport that a lot of us are crammed into during rush hour. The drive-in hotel chain’s CEO Jayjay Viray explains how this interesting concept came about: “Victoria Court is like a grown-up playground, like Disneyland for adults if you will. We bring happiness in the form of short-time happiness and wild imaginations. When we create our rooms, we think of intimacy and where we want to be. People think of the MRT as just a train to take us from point A to B, but if you look at it from a more fun perspective, you will think of something else.”
Viray likens it to having a crush on a professor at school and having your imagination run wild. “In the same way you might look at a good looking man or woman on the train and you start imagining things,” she explains with a laugh.
The execution of the MRT theme room is impressive with Victoria Court pulling out all the stops, so to speak. “It was done to the letter. We are very particular about these things in our theme rooms. We copied the windows, we used the colors of the train, and the side handles that you hold on to are there. Para ka talagang nasa loob ng train, hindi nga lang siya moving,” Viray describes.
It is all about realizing fantasies. “Wala namang taong walang fantasies,” she says. With the drive-in hotel concept celebrating its 34th year, there are insights into the Filipino’s approach to sexuality. “Filipinos are more in touch with themselves now. One thing we realized is that even though we come from a conservative society, we are very passionate. As a people, we are very creative. We shows our emotions in different ways and forms,” Viray explains.
It is also good to note that Millennials are very romantic. According to the lady exec: “They are more open about their intimacies, and they are not very promiscuous. They don’t change partners often so even though we value our clients’ privacy, they don’t mind coming in and saying who they are. They walk in, hand in hand with their partner, and just want to do something loving and intimate with them. Others may be more conservative or are secretive because they have multiple partners. What is common between these two groups is that they are creative and passionate.”

The brand is about the experience, and they cater to gatherings, too, especially for those who want to celebrate in a different way. “We have parties here in our themed rooms, and we have F&B to service those parties. Our bestsellers are our crispy pata, pancit canton, and pizzas.” While we are on the subject of food, she also mentions that they have a Noon Love promo, where you can have food and intimacy over lunch for P995.
The rates of the MRT Room at Victoria Court North EDSA are P1,145 for five hours, P1,745 for 12 hours, and P2,595 for 24 hours. They have rooms to suit different budgets, but Viray guarantees that all rooms feature hotel-level service and cleanliness. “I have to say, that if your partner brings you to Victoria Court, mahal ka talaga. Kapag sa ibang motel ka dinala, hindi ka mahal niyan,” she laughs.
