It's pager time.

We know that Captain Marvel will show up in Avengers: Endgame, but we're still unsure exactly how.

However, we might have a clearer clue now thanks to Samuel L. Jackson. Having previously revealed that Brie Larson's superhero can time travel, he's teased just how Captain Marvel comes to the aid of the Avengers.

"I guess we might figure out that she can do things that nobody else can do," Jackson told Total Film in the new issue (on sale now).

"She can time travel so maybe she can get ahead or behind or whatever, and figure out what all that is. The fact I have the pager 20 years laterit gets addressed in an interesting sort of way."

That hints that Captain Marvel could come straight to Avengers: Endgame from the 1990s once she's received Nick Fury's message. Of course, that still wouldn't solve the potential continuity issue as to why she's never been contacted before.

But don't expect Brie Larson to give you any hints as to how Captain Marvel arrives in Avengers: Endgame as all she'd say is: "I'm coming up. They've pager-ed me. So maybe it's going better."

Jackson's comments just add weight to the belief that Avengers: Endgame will feature time travel in order to undo the Snap and bring the dead heroes back. A recent theory even suggested that we've already seen evidence of the Avengers resetting the Snap.
