Since Danny Boyle jacked in the Bond 25 directing gig and Cary Fukunaga stepped in, there's been precious little to go on when it comes to piecing together what to expect from the next James Bond film. We've got a little pointer now though: it's probably going to involve a trip to Norway.

The first inkling came from a fan site which flagged up the fact that a production referred to as 'B25' was on the shortlist for a grant from the Norwegian Film Institute.

Yesterday the NFI announced that it would indeed give 47 million kroner (about P26 million) to 'B25'. Bond production company Eon hasn't confirmed or denied anything yet, but it all sounds very likely.

It wouldn't be the first time Bond has headed for Norway either: there's the secret CIA base in northern Norway in You Only Live Twice which was shot on the island of Tjøme, and bits of that daft car chase in Die Another Day where Bond and the North Korean general with diamonds in his face hare around on the ice firing at each other with small cannons.

Principal shooting is set to start on 4 March at Pinewood studios near Slough, and the film's currently slated for 14 February 2020.
