Christopher Nolan's New Film Is A Cross Between North By Northwest And Inception

Dunkirk director Christopher Nolan has promised he is “about to start shooting” his next project, and it has been described as North By Northwest meets Inception.
Other details on the film are thin on the ground, but Production Weekly confirms the “romantic thriller” has a firm release date of 17 July, 2020.
Nolan spoke about the upcoming film during an eight-minute video presentation to the UK Cinema Association conference, where he reiterated his dedication to creating films for the big screen.
“My memories are not just of the films themselves and the amazing adventures unfolding on screen; they’re also of the sense of occasion, of being a young child entering an architectural space that’s so much bigger and grander than myself; the thrill of the curtains opening, moving to enlarge the screen for a widescreen presentation,” said Nolan.
He continued, “Above all, my enduring memories are of scale, of the size of screen, the idea of seeing people and places that are larger than life, potentially overwhelming but engrossing and involving.”
