Could Disney+ Be Coming to the Philippines Soon?

Get your credit cards and e-wallets ready, because Disney+ might be landing in the Philippines quite soon. We’ve spotted the Disney+ Philippines account on Instagram, and we know what that means. The launch date of the much-awaited streaming platform could be happening soon, to the joy of millions of Filipino Disney and Marvel fans.
The Instagram account doesn’t have a verified checkmark yet, but it looks to follow the format of other Disney+ country accounts. And that's enough to give us hope that we’ll finally get our hands on Disney+ originals like WandaVision and The Mandalorian.
It was previously reported that Disney+ would only cost as little as P359 per month, which is cheaper than other streaming platforms. At less than P400 per month, users could have unlimited access to Disney’s huge archive of films and shows, as well its highly anticipated upcoming originals like Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Armor Wars, Ironheart, What If…?, Percy Jackson & The Olympians, the Wakanda series, I am Groot, and so much more.
There’s no word yet on when Disney+ will land in the Philippines. It’s all speculation at this point. But we’re crossing our fingers that it will be just in time for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's release in March.
Here’s to hoping.
