Dwayne Johnson has solved one of the greatest mysteries of our timewhat, exactly, was his wrestling persona 'The Rock' cooking all those years?

Johnson was a professional wrestler with WWF/WWE from 1996 to 2004, back before his acting career took off. As a wrestler, his well-known catchphrase was: "Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?!"

So, there you have it folks.

Of course, The Rock stopped wrestling on a regular basis some time ago, and apart from the odd WWE appearance, Johnson has been focusing on his acting career.

One of his big breaks came with The Fast & Furious franchise, but feuding between cast members and the delay of the next sequel until 2020 means Johnson hasn't been receiving a whole lot of love from his co-stars lately.

Tyrese Gibson accused Johnson of being selfish for the delay, while Vin Dieselwho Johnson famously feuded with beforedefended him, saying the delay wasn't the fault of any one person.

We'd have thought they'd learn not to mess with Johnson, though. Can't they smell what he's cooking?
