Screen legend Eddie Garcia's latest movie ML opens today. For his turn as a retired colonel who schools three students about the real horrors of Martial Law, the 89-year-old won the Best Actor award at Cinemalaya 2018. 

It's Garcia's third top honor from the independent film festival (he previously won for ICU Bed #7 and Bwakaw), proving that his acting prowess—specifically his ability to scare the bejeebus out of audiences—remains potent.
