The production staff of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho promptly visited Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao when news broke out about the use of the locale in the final scene of the blockbuster movie Avengers: Infinity War.

Tour guide Romy Licyayo helped the production crew of Kapuso reach Ekleng Village, the exact location used in the movie.

Licyayo also took care of the staff of Indochina Productions, the Asian partner of Marvel Studios that was tasked to go to Banaue to film the footage of Ekleng Village. According to Licyayo, the representatives of Indochina Productions did not tell him that the shoot was for a big Hollywood project.

Meanwhile, the staff of Kapuso forgot to ask Licyayo about the exact date when the crew of Indochina Productions visited Banaue last year.

Because of the publicity about the place that Thanos, the lead villain of Infinity War, visited in the movie, the residents of Ekleng Village are preparing for the arrival of tourists who would like to visit and see the location.

With a working title of Mary Lou, the principal photography of Avengers: Infinity War started on January 23, 2017 and ended on July 14, 2017.
