The marketing machine for Marvel’s Eternals is in full throttle. Entertainment Weekly’s cover stories are out, the final trailer has dropped, and the newest generation of Marvel stars are hyping up the upcoming addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Eternals is pitching itself to be even more epic than any other Marvel filmand all fans can talk about is Angelina Jolie. The OG baddie of Hollywood will be starring as Thena, an elite warrior member of the Eternals who can transform cosmic energy into any weapon. Jolie’s name might come last on the movie poster’s billing block, but her character is front and center in the official poster for Marvel Studios’ Eternals. Such is the power of Angelina Jolie, whose name must always be said in full.

Based on the comics, we were initially expecting Thena to fall into a supporting character role, but the amount of screentime in the trailer proves otherwise. We’re certainly not complaining because that means seeing more of Jolie in the role she fits best: a badass fighter/warrior/goddess.
