SPOILERS AHEAD: Everyone Else Had The Same Problem You Had With 'Game Of Thrones' Battle For Winterfell

If you've not seen this week's Game of Thrones episode 'The Long Night' yet, then don't worry - there aren't any major spoilers here. That's partly because of the problem a lot of fans had with the episode itself.
It wasn't that it was sluggishly paced, or had characters doing things they'd never do, or that Bran appeared to be asleep for a good chunk of it. It was that the battle was near-impossible to actually see anything of.
Not being able to tell what's going on in The Most Incredible Battle Ever Committed To Digital Streaming Platforms would blunt its impact a bit. Who was that? Are they the living or the dead? Is Jon Snow scared or just grumpy? Without putting up blackout blinds in your windows and spending the three days before watching the episode wearing a blindfold to get your eyes used to the darkness, it was near impossible to tell.
This is a cross-section of the reaction to the gloomy look of the battle, which might contain some mild spoilers but nothing too cataclysmic
