It's that time of year again: Fans, geeks, and culture vultures will be descending on the SMX Convention Center this weekend, July 27 to 29, for the 2018 AsiaPop Comicon Manila.

As usual, there will be a lot of attractions and absolutely no shortage of things to do or see. Filipino comic book artist Whilce Portacio will be there, and so will a few of the voice actors behind your favorite Filipino-dubbed 90s anime, and a bunch of booths to swing by.

But many of APCC's main attractions will happen in their three major Halls: Hall D, Hall M, and Hall N, which are special experiences by Disney, Marvel, and Netflix respectively. Each hall will be presenting exclusive content, and we have reason to expect surprises from all of them.

Hall D will be the first of its kind in Asia. Expect sneak peeks at what Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar have in store for the near future, plus a session with Disney artist Mark Henn, the launch of Disney's new app, DisneyLife; as well as "immersive experiences in the Disney booth," and "exclusive Disney merch."

Hall M has been the venue of great reveals and exclusive sneak peeks in the past. Last year, we got to see exclusive clips from Thor: Ragnarok way ahead of the movie's release. And while it's tough to expect Captain Marvel clips (the production only just wrapped filming earlier this month), Hall M hardly ever disappoints.

Hall N, on the other hand, will bring in the stars of Iron Fist and Luke Cage for panel discussions. As with previous years, Hall N will have an elaborate (and 'Gram-worthy) booth featuring realistic sets of Iron Fist, Riverdale and Stranger Things.

So there's definitely a lot to go around while wading through the cosplayers at this year's APCC.
