Game of Thrones Fans Noticed a Subtle, Clever Tactic In Tyrion's Speech to Cersei

think we can all agree that the fourth episode of Game of Thrones Season Eight had some pretty glaring issues. Characters were making stupid decisions left and right. The writers phoned in a lazy, nonsensical episode of television that, in its worst moments, was a disservice to George R.R. Martin's vision.

But there was someone in this episode who might have made a mildly intelligent decision. That someone is Tyrion Lannister.

Sure, his appeal to Cersei to give up the war didn't go well, and resulted in Missendei's beheading, but he still might have done one thing right.

As he tells Cersei in front of Euron and her army at the gates of King's Landing:

"You've always loved your children more than yourself. More than Jaime. More than anything. I beg you if not for yourself then for your child. Your reign is over, but that doesn't mean your life has to end. It doesn't mean your baby has to die."

It's a good move to appeal to Cersei's love for her children, but Game of Thronesfans noticed that Tyrion might have been doing something subtle here.

When Tyrion approaches the gates of King’s Landing to appeal to Cersei’s love for her children, he tells her to surrender for her child. Euron was standing right behind Cersei, and he just found out about “his” child moments before this scene. From Euron’s point of view, Tyrion should have no knowledge that Cersei is pregnant—Tyrion was up in the North when he slept with Cersei for the first time.

It might not have been intentional on Tyrion’s part, but I think that Euron might realize that Cersei’s baby isn’t his, turn on Cersei, and potentially kill her. If Tyrion realized what he was doing, he hid it well. If not, it may unintentionally have huge payoffs for Dany, and likely be his most “clever” move yet.

If we look at the timeline, from Euron's perspective, there's no way Tyrion should have known about her baby if it is indeed a Greyjoy child. So how does Tyrion know unless it's Jaime's baby?

This, theoretically, could put a wedge between the alliance of Euron and Cersei. He's been pretty creepily adamant about "putting a baby in her belly." His longterm plan is to father the next king of Westeros, but if there's any question of whose baby it is, that would really screw things up. Could this be the small detail that divides Cersei and Euron?
