The Trailer to Harry Styles' My Policeman Is Finally Here

The long-awaited drama arrives on Amazon Prime in November

The teaser trailer to My Policeman, Amazon’s upcoming drama in which Harry Styles plays a closeted copper in 1950s Brighton, has finally arrived.

Directed by Michael Grandage and adapted from Bethan Roberts’ 2012 novel of the same name, it tells the story of Tom Burgess, a gay policeman who marries a school teacher (played by Emma Corrin) while maintaining a romance with museum curator Patrick (played by David Dawson).

The trailer comes a few days after the first poster for the film appeared on social media, and a month or so after the ‘As It Was’ singer opened up to radio host Howard Stern about how he dealt with the nude scenes.

"I'd never kissed anyone on camera before and it felt like giving a part of myself away in some ways. I wasn't naked in Don't Worry Darling. I was naked in My Policeman.

“There's no peen in the final cut. There's bum bum... I don't think the peen was intended to be involved. I think the most important thing in that stuff is trust.

"I think if you speak about it properly with everyone that's involved... If you remember that the most important thing on the set is the two human beings doing it. If at any point either one of you is uncomfortable, I think having the conversation where it's like, 'It doesn't matter if they're getting great stuff, if you don't feel good, you tell me and we'll stop.'"

My Policeman arrives in cinemas on 21 October, followed by Amazon Prime Video on 4 November.
