Here's How to (Legally) Watch the Friends Reunion in the Philippines

No “magic” download needed.

After countless rumors over the years, our “friends” are finally reuniting. Interest in the mid-90s to early 2000s sitcom Friends is at an all-time high after it was announced that stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are finally getting back together 17 years after the show went off the air.

The one-off unscripted reunion special will air on May 27, 2021 in the US on HBO Max.

However, HBO Max has yet to be made available in the Philippines. So the big problem for most of us Filipinos is: how the heck do we watch it?

Thankfully, the show will be made available to subscribers of HBO Go here in the Philippines the same day as the U.S. Friends: The Reunion will air on the streaming platform at 3:01 p.m. on May 27, 2021, and will be broadcast on HBO later on the same day at 9 p.m.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Friends: The Reunion will also feature a few special guests, including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

And yeah, it IS a big deal.
