Joseph Gordon-Levitt Isn't Done With the Philippines Yet, Calls For More Filipino Talent

Joseph Gordon-Levitt isn’t done with the Philippine yet. The American actor, known for critically acclaimed films (500) Days of Summer and Inception, is calling for more voice actors for a new project on the Philippines for HitRecord, Gordon-Levitt’s online media platform.
The new project is titled “Beaches in the Philippines,” which is seeking voice actors for a script that the actor uploaded on his Facebook page.
“This script is a remix of your writing contributions to this project. Think it's gonna make a lovely piece,” said the actor.
The poignant poem speaks of the beauty of Philippine beaches and the peace they inspire.
“Bright blue, clear skies. Perfect pristine water. A calm, smooth breeze passing through my hair,” reads one line of the poem, soon to be translated into a short film by HitRecord.
This latest project comes after Gordon-Levitt uploaded the short film The Beauty of the Philippines, which quickly went viral among Filipinos and his fans.
Gordon-Levitt is still looking for submissions, so if you’re up for working with the Project Power star, click here.
