To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Orlando Bloom has posted up some candid behind-the-scenes photos of the crew looking all happy and hopeful.

Due to initial budgeting constraints, the (eventual) multibillion-dollar grossing trilogy was shot back to back over a period of 274 days in New Zealand, resulting in plenty of photo opportunities for a young Orlando. Including, but not exclusively: Orlando smiling, Orlando firing a bow and arrow and, our personal favourite, Orlando in a helicopter with a tired-looking Viggo Mortensen.
